We share our love of Poland through pottery made for everyday moments.
Meet Beata
I’m Beata — mum, grandma, teacher and the original pottery lover!
I work with children with SEN and when I’m not at school, you’ll usually find me pottering around in my vegetable patch, doing something crafty or being bossed around by my cat!
I’m incredibly proud of my Polish roots and love having little pieces of Poland around my home. There’s something so lovely about using beautiful pottery every day and being reminded of home, family and where you come from.
And yes, I’ve definitely passed that love on to my daughter…
Meet Iwona
I’m Iwona — daughter, mum to a three-year-old, wife and primary school teacher.
I’ve always been really proud of my Polish heritage and love celebrating it wherever I can. I especially love having pieces of Poland in my home — the colourful patterns, the little details and the feeling that they bring with them.
I’m happiest spending time with family and friends, usually with plenty of food, lots of chatting and a table full of beautiful things!
So, why Catkin?
Well… we simply love Polish pottery!
We love how it makes everyday things feel a little more special. Your morning coffee, a bowl of fruit on the kitchen table, flowers in a jug or dinner with family and friends — why not make the things you use every day beautiful?
Catkin is our little way of sharing something we love and celebrating a part of who we are.
A little bit of Poland, brought into your home.
Thanks for being here and supporting our mother-daughter adventure!
